Boba Fett Is Going To War On Tatooine In New Trailer
A new The Book of Boba Fett trailer sees Temuera Morrison’s titular character gearing up to go to war in the upcoming Disney+ Star Wars series. Developed by executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, the show will see the returns of Temuera Morrison as the titular bounty hunter, who was revealed to be alive in The Mandalorian after seemingly being killed in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Morrison will star alongside fellow Mandalorian vet Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, the elite mercenary left for dead by Pedro Pascal’s bounty hunter in the show’s first season before returning with Fett in season 2.
The Book of Boba Fett will continue his and Shand’s journey after the post-credits scene from The Mandalorian season 2 finale, in which they reclaimed Jabba the Hutt’s palace together. Boba and Shand will continue their fight to make a name for themselves in the galaxy’s underworld by taking over the territory once controlled by Jabba. The Book of Boba Fett is one of multiple Star Wars shows in the works for Disney+, including fellow Mandalorian spin-off Ahsoka starring Rosario Dawson as the titular former Jedi Padawan, the Ewan McGregor-led Kenobi, and Andor centered on Diego Luna’s titular character from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
With just a month remaining until its premiere, Disney+ has debuted a Book of Boba Fett trailer. The video sees the titular character and Fennec gearing up to go to war in the latest Star Wars series.
The new Book of Boba Fett trailer may only feature brief new footage from the latest Star Wars series, but it does offer an exciting tease of the action sequences to come. Previous trailers for the show have highlighted plenty of hand-to-hand combat sequences, while the latest video does feature glimpses of larger-scale set pieces involving Boba and Fennec. The biggest aspect to remain consistent across the various marketing is the duo’s mission to conquer the galaxy’s criminal empire.
Favreau has teased the change in dynamic for the underworld going into The Book of Boba Fett and the former bounty hunter’s struggle to fill the power vacuum left by Jabba the Hutt’s death in Return of the Jedi. Additionally, Morrison has teased plenty of exciting reveals for the show in regards to Star Wars fan’s questions, most notably being how Boba survived and recovered from his seeming demise in the Sarlacc pit. Only time will tell when The Book of Boba Fett hits Disney+ on December 29.
