This movie is about parents and three kids; in this family, three kids are very tired of their mom and Dad because they said no to everything, and what all kids want is fun. The parents are Alison and Carlos, and they are normal parents taking all responsibility for themselves and taking care of those kids. And Every time parents set the rules for kids to follow, but that is going to change because in this movie the kids decide a day “Yes Day”, and “Yes Day” is a simple concept parent has to say yes to every request, no matter how silly it may be. Kids will be setting the rule and parents have to follow without saying no to them. After all, parents are the fun killers for every kid. The Parents present ideas to kids, telling them that if they don’t get into trouble, do their studies, and keep their grades up, they can have a Yes Day reward.
Eventually, the kids got their “Yes Day” as a reward, and they put a list of five activities of the day. During Yes day, parents have to say yes to everything as long as it doesn’t result in any death or some illegal behavior. Little do they know that they’d be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles. They did all fun, and during the “Yes day” for the whole 24 hours, parents find out that they can have fun.
This movie is based on a child book that Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld writes. This movie resented a positive message with a twisted plot and is very funny and entertaining. Through the “Yes Day,” Parents and kids mend their relationship and come closer to each other than ever before. Parents take a chill pill and watch it with kids. I’m sure after watching this movie kids will also ask you to have a “Yes Day” for themselves. So, try to give them a Yes Day too as a reward and watch this movie because it is a delightful, wholesome family fun movie. Let the kids have some fun too.
