Feeling low, going through bad days, need motivation, not able to keep up, want to give up. I know a movie which can make you go through this kind of day, it is “Forest Gump”.

It is an American film released in 1994, now you may think Why I should be this much old movie? Like today we have lots of options to watch, but still, I am recommending this movie to you, maybe wondering but I’ll give you the reasons to watch it and I hope this movie will become one of your favorites.

It is an extraordinary film which has released decades ago but still winning hearts, here the lead character is played by Tom Hanks, he has played the role of a disabled man, it is a story based on a novel by the same name which is written by Winston Groom. One of my favorite dialogues from this movie is” life is a box of chocolate you never know what you going to get” Forest said this to a stranger while sitting on the bench, which is leaned from his mother. This story will give you chance to taste true friendship honest love and pure motherhood. To have a beautiful life we don’t need much, we just have to go through the storm to see that rainbow.

The film opens with Hanks sitting on a bench and narrating his life story various strangers sit next to him. The movie goes in a series of flashbacks. As a child, Forest lives with his single mother and has a very low IQ, and wears braces on his legs, but his mother encourages him and rising to believe he is no different from other children. Gump will join US Army and will go to the war in Vietnam, after the war he will be get awarded the Medal of Honor, after that he became a table tennis player and become famous for his skills. He and his friend open a company that gets very successful and they became wealthy, and when Forest’s love rejects his marriage proposal, after that he ran for three and half years covering fourth cross the country. This movie will make you cry at the same time it will be inspiring and motivating. This movie will show you, with willpower and courage you can do anything regardless of your background, your disability, or your IQ being low, will also show you that the time may seem bad but it won’t stay for long. 

I’m not sure what you’re going to get from this movie, but there are many things like a box of chocolate to get from this movie, and one thing for sure that a movie that has grabbed 6 Oscar, will be worth giving two and a half hours to watch it. This movie is available on Netflix, and one of the most highly rated movies on IMDB. It is a very light-hearted movie, which has the ability to change your life view.
