His House (2020) A hunted house movie
Are you looking for a horror movie? And the thriller? His house is a 2020 horror thriller movie, directed and written by Remi Weekes. This movie has horror from every level that can creep you out. This movie is very original breaking the stereotype, and genuine scares through every corridor. This movie is nicely written, acted and presented, and seems real.
This horror movie tells the story of a refugee couple from South Sudan, who are struggling to live their new life in an English town. This movie was released on October 30 2020 by Netflix.
Bol and Rial are a Refugee couple playing with their daughter from the war South Sudan, they somehow manage to escape and along with some fellow refugees and travel through the English Channel in search of a better life, but their daughter and many others did not survive this fight of life. When the couple finally gets asylum in Britain, the government assigns them to a house with a feeling of dismissal furnished on the outskirts of London, with lots of strict restrictions, and if they don’t follow then they may face deportation. As refugees experience racism and hatred from their neighbors, they experience it too.
The life of the couple is scary as it is out of the house as it is inside. Regardless, both of them tried to live in the best way possible but a spirit bump around their dangerous flat at night and jolts with a version of the couple’s daughter. In this movie, there are strong performances from Dirisu and Mosaku. Their acting is very impressive overall for a 93-minute horror movie is the couple experiences strange and disturbing phenomena in their home vision of their daughter and a mysterious man who both escape into the walls. In this movie, there was a flashback to Sudan’s journey when they escaped, and how they escaped. This movie has shown how the refuge a couple is alone in their new country, and you may find the movie terrifying and it may be difficult for you to find which is more terrifying the ghost that torments this couple in their home or the traumas and horrors they faced as refugees.
This movie is going to entertain you and keep you at your edge with its terrifying and horror scenes but it also can show you the difficult life that a refugee has the hate they have to face, and the racism they face. It’s also going to show you the side effects of war in the suffering of those innocent who face it. The movie has much to say about grief, guilt, assimilation, and the ongoing refugee crisis.
