The Heist Comes to an End – Money Heist Final Season to be aired in 2021
Money Heist (La casa de Papel) is a Spanish heist crime drama television series created by Álex Pina. It is one of the most-watched Netflix series of all time. The series traces two heist missions planned by the team leader (called Professor) in the Royal Mint of Spain and the Bank of Spain. The show ran for 4 magical seasons putting the viewers in the shadow of suspense and amusement. The showrunners announced that season 5 would be the finale of the show which breaks all the threads left hanging after season 4.
The series portrays Professor and his companions named after cities for privacy. The show goes through their lives and the pressure of heist. Each scene has an element of surprise in it that holds the entire story together.
Money heist season 5 was supposed to be released by August 2020 but the production got delayed due to the pandemic crisis. In a statement on Netflix, the creator Alex Pina commented on the last season as “we’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel. The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.”
There are many rumors about the final season plotline. A few photographs from the set have shown the snaps of Lisbon (lead female character) standing outside the Bank of Spain and negotiating with the police. This drops us the hint that the gang might surrender to the police with no way to fight.
There are a lot of questions that need an answer from the last season. The fate of Alicia Sierra, the former inspector, the escape of the professor and his gang, Nairobi’s death, and how it affected the heist, and many more.
Money Heist Season 5 already commenced filming with viewers spotting characters like Berlin (Pedro Alonso), Marseille (Luka Peroš), and Tatiana (Diana Gomez) on location in Denmark. All rumors aside, fans are eagerly waiting for the last season for their unanswered queries and more suspense.
