World is going gaga over the movies and series based on the current pandemic situations, event zombie movies have got its extra share of viewers as everyone was staying home. Netflix Original Biohackers, a newly launched German series may seem like a pandemic movie, but we assure you that it’s not just another pandemic creative.

Biohackers has been written and directed by Christian Ditter, who is known for his earlier US Netflix series Girlboss. The 6-part series was initially planned to release in late April, however, Netflix pushed the data to 20 August given global struggle during pandemic.          

Christian Ditter said that, “We didn’t want to fuel fear or encourage conspiracy theories so we moved the release to a later date, hoping that people would know more about the disease and could better distinguish between fact and fiction.” He further admitted that this series would surely serve as a food for thought as the world continues to struggle from pandemic showing What happens when regular folks are confronted with things that are bigger than they are.

The story of the series revolves around a medical student who enters a top German university on a secret mission to uncover a conspiracy linking a family tragedy to a visionary biology professor. The series explores how far scientists are allowed to go, and where the boundaries are drawn.
