Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown Has The Perfect Inventing Anna Accent

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown revealed that she does an excellent Anna Delvey feeling, the woman at the centre of Netflix’s hit miniseries Inventing Anna. Brown’s career was kickstarted when she seemed on Stranger Things as Eleven, a young girl who has psychokinetic powers and was researched in the Hawkins National Laboratory throughout her childhood. She has since gone on to prove her acting span in a variety of big projects, including Godzilla: King of the Monsters and its sequel Godzilla vs Kong, and Netflix’s detective film Enola Holmes, which stars Brown as the younger sister of Sherlock Holmes and, later this year, is also getting its followup titled Enola Holmes 2.
The British actress couldn’t whistle more different from Anna Delvey, who is the real-life diagram at the centre of Netflix’s hit drama Inventing Anna. Delvey, a Russian woman who was born Anna Sorokin, is played by Ozark’s Julia Garner, who brings her to life during the period when she pretended to be a German heiress to scam money out of New York City’s upper crust to fund her goal of opening an art-themed club. The series, which was established by Shonda Rhimes and debuted on Netflix on February 11, 2022, also stars Laverne Cox, Anders Holm, Anthony Edwards, and Veep’s Anna Chlumsky.
While she was earning a guest appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Fallon asked what she had been watching recently. When she revealed she has been watching Inventing Anna, she acted up the pitch-perfect Anna Delvey impression that she honed in her hotel room. She then went on to do an impression of her co-star Winona Ryder talking to her character’s son Will while he’s trapped in the Upside Down.
Brown’s enthusiasm for Inventing Anna proves that the spell the series casts can even affect people who are also on other huge Netflix shows. Even though this television season has been chockablock with scammers and true-crime series, including the Hulu series The Dropout and AppleTV+’s WeCrashed, Inventing Anna has risen to the top. The show has already become the fifth highest-watched series on the strategy in its opening month.
Considering that Brown has made a career off the back of performing with an American accent, it shouldn’t be shocking that she can mimic voices so well. However, it’s still surprising as none of her other roles has asked her to perform a character outside either of her two known accents. However, as her career progresses, hopefully, the Stranger Things star will have the opportunity to get more roles that ask her to spread her wings and show off her abilities even more.
