The content’s story itself takes it too seriously than the writer, George Saunders story at it’s core.

George Saunders, 63 is a whole different personality with a unique perception who writes weird stuff and people actually do read and appreciated that.

He writes genres with almost impossible happenings sometimes, sometimes breaking the natural rules of reality. He pours out his entire imagination into his genres and short stories without any reality check to it.

In 2006, a magazine, Guernica asked Saunders about his relationship with his genres and science fiction and how he tends to pen them and make it so interesting and worth reading.

To this question he said, he didn’t read a lot in his young times but was fascinated by Star Wars and imagined ships fly over the head. This made him stuck to this and he poured his entire imagination on the paper.

Netflix has a big budget sci fi flick Spiderhead adapted from his short story published in 2010 called Escape from Spiderhead. The story revolved around a pharmaceutical genius, who was a happy working researcher, about his execution of an experiment and his past mentality of working on profit basis only.

Comparing this to the source of origin, Mashable states that the story had a potential to have irrespective place in piece of vein of Ex Machine. Overall it is a good comparison that reminds of latter movie’s beloved dance scene.
