Ripley To Showcase On Netflix Instead Of Showtime

The eight episode limited series, Ripley originally picked up from the novel of Patricia Highsmith’s , The Talented Mr. Ripley will not showcase on Netflix instead of Showtime.
As per the recent reports, makers of Ripley shifted it’s releasing platform from Showtime to Netflix due to the merging of Showtime with Paramount+. This following move of the company leads to discontinuation of several other projects as well which comprise a The three Women from and American Gigolo.
Though the team members of the series announced for it’s making in 2019, but due to several hurdles coming on between especially the Covid 19 phase couldn’t start the work. But the makers started with the making of Ripley in July 2021 and finished it till the early start of 2022. The content of this story was created at two prime locations, Italy and New York.
The eighth part of the story tells about the phase of 1960 and showcase a con artist of that time named Ripley. The story runs on how a wealthy employed man, Ripley embarks the cluster of fraud, homicide and deception.
Steven Zaillian is the writer as well as director of the series. His work is also seen in Moneyball, The girl with the dragon tattoo and much more.
The story will therefore have a leading cast by Andrew Scott, Dakota Fanning, Johnny Flynn, Elliott Summer and Pasquale Esposito within which makes it more worthy and exciting to watch.
