Netflix to Release Its Own Britany Spears Documentary

Netflix has decided to create its own movie about Britney Spears, though, Hulu recently released its movie on Britney. According to Netflix, Erin Lee Carr will be directing the project who has been associated with many true crime documentaries.

Earlier, Hulu released a similar project ‘Framing Britney Spears’ which was produced by the New York Times and it has been since then the talk of the town. The Hulu movie follows the Media’s approach toward Britany throughout her career and further explores her life as a star controlled by her Father.

This will be second encounter where Netflix and Hulu have released competing films on the same storyline. Both streaming service providers earlier came face to face for a film about the Fyre Festival which was a luxury music festival that turned out to be a disaster.

The competition against such similar projects has been due to leaning of streaming services to create appealing and fresh content programs.
