Netflix Sets Ensemble Cast for ‘The Bubble,’ Includes Karen Gillan & Maria Bakalova
Judd Apatow has ensembled the cast for his new Netflix comedy ‘The Bubble’ which includes Maria Bakalova, Karen Gillan, Iris Apatow, Fred Armisen, David Duchovny, Keegan-Michael Key, Leslie Mann, Pedro Pascal, and Peter Serafinowicz.
The movie will be directed, co-written, and produced by Judd and it will also see Maria Bakalova in the cast who recently came to fame for her role in Borat Subsequent Movie film. Along with Judd, Pam Brady will also serve as the co-writer for ‘The Bubble’.
The Bubble is a comedy movie about a group of actors and actresses stuck inside a pandemic bubble at a hotel attempting to complete a film.
This movie is the first venture of Judd Apatow with Netflix which will be credited as the film centered around the pandemic.
Earlier Apatow has been associated with many films as director and writer including Emmy Award-winning ‘The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling’, ‘The King of Staten Island’, ‘Trainwreck’, ‘Funny People’, ‘This Is 40’, ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘The 40 Year Old Virgin’.
