Gareth Evans signed for Netflix’s ‘Havoc’ starring Tom Hardy

Netflix has signed an exclusive deal with Gareth Evans to produce and direct films over the next few years. The deal will start with the first film named ‘Havoc’ starring Tom Hardy who will also be part of the film as a producer.

The movie plot revolves around bruised detective who must fight his way through a criminal underworld trying to rescue a politician’s estranged son. The plot starts with a drug deal goes wrong and the detective who ends up unravelling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.

 Gareth Evans is multi award winning Welsh film director, screenwriter, editor, and actions choreographer who has been associated with Indonesian action-crime films Merantau, The Raid and The Raid 2.

Havoc will also have XYZ as production studio which has been associated with earlier films like iBoy, ARQ, Bushwick, I Don’t Feel At Home in this World Anymore, Mercy, and The Night Comes For Us.
