Disney Plus Casts Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk
Marvel Studios has finalized Tatiana Maslany as the leading star of its upcoming series She-Hulk for Disney Plus. Earlier marvel studios confirmed that they have finalized Kat Coiro as director for the series who would direct the complete series including the pilot episode.
The She-Hulk series centered around a lawyer, Jennifer Walters (Maslany), who is a cousin of Bruce Banner and inherited his Hulk powers after she receives a blood transfusion from him. Although her powers are similar to our world-famous hulk, she still retains most of her personality, intelligence, and emotional control.
Maslany is best known for her roles in the science-fiction thriller TV series Orphan Black which were live from 2013 to 2017. She has been nominated for three Emmys and a Golden Globe during her Orphan Black’s run. She has also won the Emmy for best actress in a drama series in 2016.
Apart from this, she has recently appeared in the HBO drama “Perry Mason” whereas she was also part of some of the movies such as “Stronger,” “Destroyer,” and “Pink Wall.” She-Hulk is one of several Marvel series which Disney Plus is working on. Other series from Marvel Cinematic Universe include Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision and Loki.
