Avatar- The Way Of Water has grossed $1m right after 14 days of it’s release. This is a global success after Spider – No Way Home. James Cameron , the director of Avatar created a masterpiece as this is the second movie which have surpassed this huge amount globally.
After the same momentum of this release till the second consecutive week, it has took the tag of Jurassic World: Dominion and came on the position of No.2 release of 2022 and No 3 release of the pandemic era.
Despite of facing disruptions by Storm Elliot, it earned $300 million. The domestic $24 million and 31% of it on first Tuesday which now gives the movie a tag if No.1 and No. 2 top grossing Tuesdays of the year 2022.
But the journey not only stops here, it celebrates the New Year in a grand way too. After the New Year, the movie sits on the earning of $1.37 million. It has earned $955.1 million after its premier and is creating a rock in the theaters.
In US, Avatar: The Way Of Water earns $400mn in spite of rise in covid cases and snow storms across the nation, by which the public is advised to stay in homes. The first part of movie, Avatar released in 2009, earned $3 million globally being the highest grossing film of that time. Thus, James Cameron is all set to reach $2m of global earning as per the journey of the film inside the theaters.
