Enola Holmes to Release on 23 September on Netflix
Enola Holmes is a new take on the famous Sherlock Holmes universe which is all set to release on Netflix on 23 September. This highly anticipated movie stars Millie Bobby Brown as the lead role Enola, the younger sister of infamous detective Sherlock Holmes, along with many other huge names in the star cast.
Netflix recently released the official trailer of the movie and soon after it grabbed the attention of a lot of fans across the globe. The trailer was tweeted by the official Twitter account for Netflix UK & Ireland with a caption: “The trailer is afoot! Enola Holmes arrives 23 September.”
The film is adapted from the Nancy Springer series of novels with a plot centered in 1884. On the morning of her 16th Birthday, Enola Homes wakes up to find that her mother has disappeared and has left nothing but an odd assortment of gifts. As there is no other apparent clue as to where she’s gone or why.
Soon after, Enola ends up with her brothers Sherlock (Henry Cavill) and Mycroft (Sam Claflin) who are set on sending her away to a finishing school for ‘proper’ young ladies. However, Enola refuses to follow their wish and instead escapes to search for her mother in London.
