Jurassic Park Trilogy to Leave Netflix on September 30

The first three parts of Jurassic Park will roll out from Netflix by the end of September this came after two months the trilogy started streaming on Netflix.

Jurassic Park started streaming on Netflix Since Aug 1 and now they have announced that the three movies —Jurassic Park (1993), The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997), and Jurassic Park III (2001) will be soon leaving the platform for once and all.  

 Universal confirmed the news and stated that the movies will soon be hosted on another network beginning in October also it will be back on Peacock soon. Netflix surely carved out enough marketing through the two-month streaming window for Jurassic Park films for its upcoming Jurassic World – based animated series.

This has become a trend to have windows of 1-2 months on catalog tiles as studios associated with movies are looking to maximize sales of their libraries in the absence of new products on the streaming platforms.

The Netflix original series, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous is based on a group of six teenagers who are chosen for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at a new adventure camp on the opposite side of Isla Nublar. As dinosaurs wreak havoc across the island, these six teenagers have to come together to survive the chaos.

Netflix will be releasing DreamWorks Animation’s Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous on September 18 which will feature the same timeline as 2015’s Jurassic World.
