Falling For Christmas
A romantic take of a daughter of a rich resort owner who gets lost in the woods during the winter chills and is found by a man who runs a place for bed and breakfast.
The story begins with the introduction of the daughter Lohan who is influenced by her boyfriend but her father do not pays a heed towards their relationship. But soon the script becomes tangled all of a sudden when Lohan discovers about her head injury and Amnesia, all within a span of a day after getting diagnosed by her doctor. While Lohan tried to locate her new house to give a helping hand in the housework, her head injury surprisingly gets healed and allows her to do all the normal health related stuff just in four days of break. Jake, played by Chord Overstreet isn’t seen at the place where he saw her . That lets the viewers wonder whether Amnesia is a communicable disease? . This holiday themed tale is perhaps highlighting the delightful Olivia Parez as Jake’s little girl Avy. George Young as Tad Fairchild adds some fun in the story , even though the writer dims the light toward his character can be deemed rather than dated .
Overall it’s a good story with some tension and suspense and how a bad guy turns out to have some comic talent too as well . The story narrates how an overboard meets it’s a wonderful life mashup that lacks charm, plot and chemistry. Lohan has great chemistry with him , even they are not a proper match for each other, their fashion choices makes them a one .
The story also shows the tender and caring relationship of a widower with his mother in law, but the film forgets to give Alejandra more screen time. The low budget festive romance thus serves a strong reminder of confidence.
It’s a one time must watch for families during the festive season. The film however came to the screen on 10 November, 2022.
