American Horror Story Season 13: Release Date And Episode Schedule

Horror fans, get ready to return to the unsettling world of American Horror Story. The long-running anthology series is coming back for its 13th installment, bringing several familiar stars and characters from across the franchise back into the spotlight.

Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, American Horror Story premiered in 2011 with Murder House. Since then, the anthology has explored a wide range of horror stories and settings, including Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse, 1984, Double Feature, NYC and Delicate. FX currently lists AHS: 13 as the franchise’s 13th installment.

The upcoming season is set to bring back several familiar faces from the AHS universe, including Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Emma Roberts. FX describes the new installment as an all-star return that features many performers reprising fan-favorite roles from the series.

The new season is executive produced by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ned Martel, Charlie Carver, Eric Kovtun, Nissa Diederich, Scott Robertson, Tanase Popa, Crystle Roberson Dorsey, Jennifer Salt and Tim Minear. The series is produced by 20th Television.

Originally expected to arrive around Halloween, American Horror Story: 13 now has an official premiere date. The new season will debut on September 24, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT on FX and Hulu.

The season will consist of 13 half-hour episodes. The first and second weeks will each feature three episodes, followed by two episodes every Thursday until the season finale on October 29.

With familiar stars returning and the anthology once again revisiting its established horror universe, American Horror Story: 13 is set to continue the franchise’s tradition of connecting new stories with memorable characters and performers from previous installments.
